Connie Jean Clark, age 62, of Council Bluffs, passed away October 14, 2007, at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Connie was born November 3, 1944, in Council Bluffs, to the late Arthur and Phyllis (Putnam) Wilson. She retired from AT&T, in March of 1994, after 32 years of service. Connie was a member of Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, it's Altar Society, and Telephone Pioneers.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Dennis Clark; son, Larry Garretson and wife Rhonda, all of Council Bluffs; granddaughters, Jennifer Garretson, of Hanford, Calif., Alexis Theos, of Council Bluffs; stepdaughter, Denise Johnson, of Spirit Lake, Iowa; stepgrandsons, Scott Johnson, of Ames, Iowa, Sean Johnson, of Spirit Lake; sister, Mary Harris, of Council Bluffs; brothers, Al Wilson and wife Marlene, of Omaha, Neb., Bud Wilson and wife Debbie, of Reno, Nev.; lifelong friend, Marilyn Haus and husband Dan, of St. Louis, Mo.; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Wake Service, Thursday, 6:30 p.m., followed by visitation with the family until 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, 10 a.m., at Queen of the Apostles Church, with Rev. Dan Kirby, Pastor and Rev. Mr. Monty Montagne officiating. Interment, Ridgewood Cemetery, with a lunch following, at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
