Michael A. Carbis, most beloved son and brother, passed away October 10, 2007.

He was born in Omaha, Neb., on February 24, 1988, to John and Joan (Formanek) Carbis. Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. His interests included computers, hunting, fishing, and mechanics. He was employed at Blue Beacon, of Council Bluffs.

Michael is preceded in death by grandfather, Edward Formanek, and uncle Stanley Formanek.

He will be missed dearly by parents, John and Joan Carbis; sister, Kari; brothers, Neil and Joseph; grandparents, Reita Formanek, Frank and Emily Carbis; and loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

As to his parents' wishes, Michael will be cremated, without viewing. There will be memorial visitation, in his honor, on Friday, October 12th, from 6-8 p.m., at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home. Friends are invited to bring pictures and share their favorite stories, at this celebration of Michael's life. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
