Kenneth D. Schwensen, age 80, died at the Oakland Manor Nursing Home, in Oakland, Iowa, on September 27, 2007.

He is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Williams and husband Earl, of Oakland; brother, Howard Schwensen, Jr. and wife Irene, of Arvada, Colo.; his nieces and nephews, Todd Williams, Brad Williams, and Julie Todd, of Oakland, Dianna Porter and Sylvia Hagelstrom, of Arvada, and Rene Burton, of Las Vegas, Nev.; his one and only cousin, Shirley Schwensen Quirk, from Bellevue, Neb.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007, at 11 a.m., at the Minden Church of Christ. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
