Timboe, Ines Marie Wicker – d. 2012

Ines Marie Timboe, 81, died Friday, March 9, 2012 at her home after a four year battle with ovarian cancer. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1105 Grand Ave., in West Des Moines with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the church.
Ines was born in Adelphi, Iowa to Murray and Cora 'Fern' Wicker. She lived in the Des Moines area for many years coming from Prairie City where she had lived for 30 years. She had worked for the Telephone Company and most recently for Accents and Interiors. She was a member of St. Mark and the Telephone Pioneers. Ines was a devoted, wife, mother and friend. She was an extremely hard worker with an abundance of energy.
Ines will be missed by her son, Doug (wife, Jill) of West Des Moines; brother, Melvin Wicker (wife, Marilyn) of Prairie City; step-daughter, Ginger Langrehr of Des Moines and her grandchildren, Margot Timboe, Katherine Timboe and Nathaniel Timboe all of West Des Moines and Misty Langrehr of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her husband. Maynard in 1996, her parents and her sister, Evelyn 'Darlene' Eilliston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The John Stoddard Cancer Center or Hospice of Central Iowa.
