Myron "Mike" Smith died Friday, June 22, 2012 in Clovis, California after a short illness. He was born in Fairfield, Iowa September 5, 1925 to Charles and Abbie Smith.
Mike is survived by his son Dennis (Sue) Smith and daughter Karen (Steven) Lonsdale, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brother Gerald "Jerry" Smith of Hedrick, Iowa, and many cousins, neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth and infant granddaughter.
The funeral service will be at Faith Lutheran Church in Clive August 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. Private interment of his cremains at Dows, Iowa will follow on an undetermined date.
