Memorial funeral services for Kathyrn will be held 6 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at Highland Park Funeral Home, 3500 6th Ave. She was born and raised in Creston, Iowa; graduated from the Iowa School of Beauty and has been a hairdresser for over 40 years. Kathyrn owned Hair Affair in Park Fair Mall.
Kathi is survived by her husband Adolfo, two sons Scott Frey of Tulsa, OK (Jamie Gonnerman) and Alano De La Rosa (Adrian Wallace) of Ankeny, brothers Phil Hayes, Paul Hayes of Des Moines and Daniel Hayes (Sheri) of Creston; two sisters Jan Johnson (Roger) and Rita Hayes (Michael Walker) of Des Moines; and many neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother George and Pearle Hayes and her brother Michael Hayes, her nephew Michael Martin and her niece Dusty Hayes.
