Virginia (Ginny) A. Wolfe, 94, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A Memorial Service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at McLaren's Chapel in West Des Moines.

Ginny was born October 12, 1916 in Princeton, Illinois. She was active in the Junior League, PTA, Wakonda Club, Des Moines Club, Cub Scouts and youth sports. Ginny was an avid bridge player, loved raising dogs and enjoyed traveling internationally with her husband, especially to Yugoslavia.

Virginia is survived by her four sons, Stephen (Jana) Wolfe of West Des Moines, Michael (Debbie) Wolfe of Overland Park, Kansas, Tony (Susie Gunia) Wolfe of Fort Myers, Florida and Gregory (Vickie) Wolfe of West Des Moines; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Wolfe and mother, Beulah Alpaugh.
