Vera M. Lewis, 92, was born May 3, 1918 and passed away at her home April 1, 2011. She was a member of Grace Church and loved to dance and sing.

Vera is survived by her children, Carolyn Finch and Keith (Mae) McCaughey; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Myrtle Robinson and daughter, Delores Thurman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
