Delancey Silliman

Delancey E. “Dee” Silliman, 79, of Des Moines died Dec. 9, 1987, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

He was born May 1, 1908, in Boone. He married Ruby Bankson on July 3, 1970.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Karen Elwell of Slater; a son, B. Duane of Washington, D.C.; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Shaul Cemetery.
