Judith Ann Lett was born October 3, 1949, in Atlantic, Iowa, and passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

She lived on the family farm in Adair County, Iowa, until the family moved to Seattle, Washington when Judith was four years old. Her family returned to Iowa and settled in Des Moines where she graduated from Roosevelt High School. Judith worked for the State of Iowa Department of Transportation in data entry for 40 years, retiring in May of 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur H. and Eloise Grace (Wheatley) Lett Jr.

Judith is survived by her brother, Lyle (Sherry) Lett of Des Moines, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Anita, Iowa, with the visitation two hours prior, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita.
