Richard Nelson, 76, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away March 17, 2017, in Friendship Village, Tempe Arizona. He was born May 4, 1940 to Jack and Dorothy Nelson in Des Moines, Iowa. He was raised in Wilmette and Half Day, Illinois. Richard attended New Mexico State University and joined the Navy in 1965. He started working at Motorola in Phoenix in 1969 and retired after 27 years. He is survived by his brothers, Norm(Sue) and Tom. A memorial service will be held at Nara Visa, New Mexico.
