Earl Dunagan, 84, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 22, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at McLaren's Chapel in West Des Moines with the visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

Earl was born April 7, 1928 in Des Moines. After graduating from East High and completing a tour with the Navy, he graduated from Simpson College, where he met his wife, Emily Ann. He worked as an electrician in the Des Moines area and was an active member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 54 years.

Earl is survived by three children, Michele, Craig and Mark, along with Craig's wife, Merethe, and their three children, Scott, Lisa and Erica. He is also survived by his sister, Jeanette of British Columbia, and his brother, Ted of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Pauline; wife, Emily Ann; and daughter, Laura Lynn.
