LaDonna, age 77, died Thursday, November 29 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 30 at Caldwell-Raddatz Funeral Home, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, December 1 at Ankeny Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Ankeny.

She was born on July 12, 1935 in Danbury, IA to Vance Lacey and Faye (Krick) Lacey. She married Judson Leo Johnston on August 14, 1955. LaDonna was a homemaker and was a member of the Military Order of Purple Heart Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Judson Johnston; and a brother, Darnell Lacey. LaDonna is survived by her son, Brent Johnston (Doris); daughter, Sharalynn Clemens (Jeff); grandchildren, Chase and Caitlin Clemens, and Luke Johnston; brother, Royce Lacey (Pauline); sister in law, Carol Lacey; many nieces and nephews.
