George Aller, 74, passed peacefully at Taylor House on Monday, November 26, 2012. Funeral services will be 9 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, with burial following at Elm Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, November 30, at the funeral home.

George loved building things in his garage, watching NASCAR, and listening to country music, especially George Jones. Most of all, though, he loved spending time with friends and family.

George is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dixie; son, Jeffrey Aller; grandson, Joshua (Katie) Close; great-grandson, George Louis Close; brothers, James (Lois) Aller, Harry (Bunny) Aller, Jr., Garry (Carol) Aller, and Danny Aller; sister, Sondra (Richard) Wessel, son-in-law, Ric Close and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruth Aller, brothers, Larry Aller and Johnny Aller, and daughter, Kristi Close.
