Mildred passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Urbandale Care Center. She was born March 27, 1915 to William and Christiana Clements of Grimes. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. at Caldwell Raddatz Funeral Chapel, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale. Burial will follow in McDivitt Cemetery in Urbandale.

She is survived by her son, Franklin (Dianne) Matzke; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Matzke; seven grandchildren, Craig (Janice) Matzke, Tammy Matzke, Matthew Matzke, Nicki (Rick) White, Scott Newell, Angi (Matt) Neil and Rebekah Matzke. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren; three nieces; and many great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Matzke; daughter, Peggy Ann Newell, son-in-law, Richard Newell; and daughter, Gayle Matzke; also four brothers and eight sisters.
