Services for Mrs. Matie D. Wiley, 87, of 1334 Forty-second St., who died of a heart attack Tuesday at Calvin Manor, 4210 Hickman road, after a lengthy illness, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.

Mrs. Wiley, born in Walworth, N. Y., had been a Des Moines resident 66 years and was a graduate of the former Des Moines Sunday School Institute in 1915. She was a member of University Christian Church.

For many years Mrs. Wiley was a member of the Des Moines Women’s Club, Des Moines Garden Club and the League of Women Voters.

Survivors include two sons, Roy R. of Los Angeles, Calif., and Raymond A. of Des Moines; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
