Services for Mrs. Gertrude T. Swanson, 73, of 3531 Witmer Parkway, who died Monday at Iowa Methodist Hospital after an extended illness, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church with burial in Glendale Cemetery.

Mrs. Swanson, born in Kenyon, Minn., lived in Des Moines since 1944. She was a member of the St. Anne’s Guild and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

Survivors include a son, C. Robert, of Dover, N. J.; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene R. Severs of Des Moines; three brothers, Arnold Stocke, Harold Stocke and Oswald Stoke, all of Minneapolis, Minn.; Two sisters, Alice Stocke and Mrs. Curtis Martin, Both of Minneapolis, Minn., and 10 grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. The body is at the Westover Funeral Home.
