Edna Clark Mills, 93, of Granger Manor in Granger, formerly of 1054 Thirty Third Street, Des Moines. Edna died June 4, 1984 of a heart Ailment Monday at the manor; services will be Thursday at Dunn’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, block 35 section J lot #133 Military section next to her husband Marion Davis Mills who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Mills was born June 13, 1890 in Indiana and was a Des Moines area resident since 1920. She was an artist and was a former designer of greeting cards and art director at Library Binding Service of Des Moines, manufacturing children’s book covers.
Survivors include a son David of Jefferson City, Mo., seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
