Ruth Adele Cox, 85, went to be with her Lord on January 30, 2012, Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 314 E. Army Post Road with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. a visitation will be from 12 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Ruth was born August 8, 1926 in Des Moines to Dee and Violet Cox. She was a Lincoln High School and Moody Bible College graduate. She was blessed with an artistic ability in music, painting and making life size dolls, her "Hat Ladies." Her life was filled with a passion for Christ.

She is survived by brother, Orville Cox; nephews, Dan (Linda) Cox, Mark (Diane) Cox; dearest friends, Lee and Ron Dawson and numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister-in-law, Della and nephew, David.
