Rita Gloria Murphy, 71, died March 17, 1996 of pneumonia Sunday at Mercy Medical Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peters Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Murphy, a homemaker, was born in Camden, NJ, and lived in Des Moines since 1942.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; a son, Mike of Bondurant; two daughters, Patricia Carlson and Teresa Couch, both of Des Moines; a sister, Pauline McNamee of Vincent Town, NJ; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mitchell Village Care Center Center or her Church.
