THE IOWA STATE LEADER, DES MOINES, IOWA Saturday, June 16, 1877

DIED - Jackson McGlothlin, son of J.D. McGlothlin, June 16th, aged 35 years, leaving a wife and four children. The funeral will take place from his late residence, near Avon, Polk County, Iowa, tomorrow, June 17th, at 11 o'clock a.m. Friends of the family are invited to attend without further notice.
