DAILY STATE LEADER, Des Moines, Iowa Monday, June 18, 1877

John Hurley's boy who was drowned in the pond on the Peet farm Saturday, was buried yesterday, and his remains were followed to the grave by innumerable carriage loads of friends. This is the fourth boy drowned this spring.
