Sandra Sue Forrester, 58, of the 1000 block of East Sixth Street died of cancer Oct. 30 at Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines. The body was cremated, and no services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Forrester was born in Chariton and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was an inspector with Deluxe Check Printing before retiring.

She is survived by four sons, Shawn of Marshalltown, Kelly of Ames, and Casey and Corey, both of Des Moines.

Cremation Society of Iowa is handling arrangements.

*note* Sandra was the only daughter of 2nd Lt. Fred Edward Mincks, Jr. and Luetta (Hobbs) Mincks-Pirtle, when she was born in Chariton.
