Services for Lawrence Lester Mally, 71, of 1621 Forty-sixth St., who died of a heart ailment Saturday while on vacation in Sturgeon Bay, WI., will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Friends Cemetery near Ankeny.

He was born in Berwick and lived in Washington, IA., Davenport and Winterset before he moved to Des Moines 33 years ago. He was a farm manager for Central National Bank, now First Interstate, for 27 years before retiring in 1979. He was a 32-degree Mason and was a member of Za-Ga-Zig Shrine Temple, the Scottish Rite, Westgate Masonic Lodge No. 661 AF and AM, Izaak Walton League, National Association of Farm Managers.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie J.; four sons, Henry of San Francisco, Lawrence M. of Des Moines, James of Fair Oaks, CA., and Richard of Ames; a daughter, Eileen Mally of Winterset; four brothers, John and Ward, both of Elkhart, George of Atlantic and Milton of Des Moines; two sisters, Margaret Randolph of Anamosa and Ruth Cunconan of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home.
