Laura L. Mally, 85, of Berwick died of a heart ailment Saturday at Colonial Manor nursing home in Baxter where she had lived for the past 11 months.

She had lived in the Berwick area most of her life and was born in Polk County. A retired piano teacher, Miss Mally graduated from the Drake University school of music and was a member of Capitol Heights United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home with burial at Greenwood Friends Cemetery, near Ankeny.

Survivors include two brothers, Henry of Elkhart and Frank of Farnhamville, and two sisters, Mrs. Flora Garber of Bondurant and Mrs. Matilda Naylor of Des Moines.

The family suggests memorials to the chapel fund of Colonial Manor or to Capitol Heights United Methodist Church.
