Marion D. "Cap" Mally, 78, of Berwick, formerly of Des Moines, who died of a stroke Thursday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Berwick Cemetery.

Mr. Mally was born in Polk County and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was a retired cashier for Yellow Cab Co. and was a member of Berwick United Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Dorotha; a son, Michael of Altoona; a daughter, Diane Williamson of Winterset; a sister, Emma Howard of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
