Services for Alton W. Mally, 87, of Route 4, who died at Iowa Lutheran Hospital Wednesday morning, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in the cemetery at Berwick.

Mr. Mally, a retired farmer, lived in Polk County all his life. He was a member of the United Church of Christ at Berwick, a 50-year member of the Logic Chapter 636 of the Masonic Lodge at Ankeny, a member of the Polk County Farm Bureau Federation, the Scottish Rite Bodies and the Pioneer Club.

Surviving are his wife, Florence; a daughter, Mrs. Emma Howard of Des Moines and a son, Marion of Berwick; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Mally of Berwick, Mrs. Flora Garber of Bondurant, and Matilda Naylor of Des Moines; two brothers, Frank of Ankeny and Henry of Elkhart; six grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
