Russell Hardin Howard, 93, of Norwalk died of a heart ailment Monday at Regency Care Center there. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Howard was born in Grimes and had lived in the Des Moines area most of his life before moving to Norwalk two years ago. He was a retired accountant with Pioneer Hybrid, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Elks Club.

Survivors include a sister, Anna Utsler of Winterset.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home.
