Bernice V. Howard, 61, of 2015 S.E. Sixth St., died of a heart ailment Friday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in Lincoln Township Cemetery at Alleman.

Mrs. Howard was born in Grinnell and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include a brother, Gene Molloy of Omaha, NE.

Friends may call between 5 and 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
