Mrs. Erickson Funeral Set

Services for Mrs. Ida J. Erickson, 76, of 1515 Illinois St., who died of cancer Saturday at the Stuart Nursing Home in Altoona, will be Tuesday noon at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rising Sun Cemetery.

Mrs. Erickson, who had been ill five years, was born in Jasper County and lived in the Runnells area 13 years before coming to Des Moines 20 years ago. She was a member of Rising Sun Church of Christ.

Surviving are two sons, Leonard of Des Moines and Verne of West Des Moines, two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy J. Brown of Des Moines and Mrs. Hilda Plunkett of Maxwell, two brothers, Henry Curry of Rising Sun and Elmer Curry, living in Canada, a sister, Mrs. Maudie Brewer of Des Moines; 22 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Transcriber note: Ida Jane (Curry) Erickson passed away 13 Feb 1960. Her husband Thomas Ernest Erickson was killed in a auto accident 10 January 1937.
