EMMA BETTS-Mrs J.L.: DesMoines; 69, died Wednesday from effects of a stroke suffered Monday at her home. She is survived by 2 sons & 2 daughters: Carl E.-Chicago; Roy J. & Vera Potts-Des Moines & Mrs Hazel Looney-Boston, MA-former society editor of The DesMoines News. Excepting Carl all children were at the bedside when death occurred. Mrs. Betts was a member of Crocker Post of the Women's Relief Corps & of Central Church of Christ. Rev. Floyd Bash will be in charge of funeral rites. The time to be announced later. {Interment in PineHill Cem}
