Winterset Madisonian, Winterset, Iowa

MRS. CHAS. A. FOSTER

Rosa Finch, youngest daughter of John D. and Fannie Finch, was born April 23, 1891 in Des Moines, Iowa, where she lived until two years ago, at which time she with her parents moved to Hillyard, Wash., where she was married to Charles A. Foster Sept. 10, 1915.

At the age of fifteen she was baptized and joined the Christian church in Des Moines. She was a member of the Philathea class of Hillyard M. E. Sunday school.

Her illness dated from Feb. 6th. She suffered much during the weeks of her illness, but was always patient and cheerful. She made a brave struggle for life, thinking always that she would win and recover her health.

On Saturday, March 25th, she was taken to Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane, where it was thought an operation might save her life, but the summons came at midnight, March 29th.

The young husband has the sympathy of the many friends of the family. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Foster, formerly of this county and brother of Glenn Foster, who lives in Jackson township.
