Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church in Grimes for Sadie Slauson, who died April 11, 2005.

Sadie lived in Grimes for more then 50 years and retired from Hyline Corporation. She will be missed by her children, Sheila Coburn, Sharon (Alex) Calder and Steven (Mary) Slauson; nine grand children; seven great-grandchildren; and a twin sister, Vina Mains. Sadie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lewis and grandchildren, Brandon, Stacey, John and Christine.

Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
