Des Moines Register, April 23, 1968, Section L, Page 7, Column 4: Services for Mrs. Ethel Wood, 72, formerly of Des Moines, who died of a heart ailment Friday in Denver, CO, will be Monday in Denver. Mrs. Wood, who lived most of her life in Des Moines, left in 1966. She was a member of the Adelphi Chapter Eastern Star, the National Association of Retired Civil Service Employees, the Railway Mail Association Auxiliary, and the Central Christian Church. Surviving are her sister, Edith Clark, of Grimes, her daughter, Mrs. LeRoy O'Connell, of Denver, and her step-daughter, Mrs. Dorothea Digranes, of Des Moines.
