Des Moines Tribune, February 22, 1965, Page 4, Column 1: Services for Warren W. Wood, 81, of 1618 York St. will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Mr. Wood died of a heart attack Sunday while visiting friends at the Elliott Apartments. Born at Arlington, he lived here since 1921 and was with the postal transportation service before retiring in 1953. He was a member of Central Christian Church, Adelphic Masonic Lodge, Des Moines Consistory, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, Alpha Council, Commandery and Corinthian Chapter, and the National Association of Retired Civil Employees. Surviving are his widow, Ethel; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothea Digranes of Des Moines; a stepdaughter, Mrs. L. J. O'Connell of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
