Don N. Hanke

Services for Don N. Hanke, 74, of 8821 Hickman Road will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Hanke was born in Newton and also lived in Phoeniz, Ariz. He lived in Des Moines most of his life and attended Open Bible College. A former insurance salesman, Mr. Hanke was a retired minister for the First Church of the Open Bible, of which he was also a member.

Survivors include his wife, Flossie; two sons, Donald Jr. and Keith, both of Des Moines; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. ~ Des Moines Tribune (Iowa), January 19, 1979.
