I am looking for more information on the Byrne family that moved to the Fonda area around 1875. The names of those family members are Mary Elizabeth Kelley and children Francis Byrne, Thomas Byrne, Mathew, Peter, and William Byrne. Mary Elizabeth Kelley was married to a William Byrne who died in Ireland. Mary Elizabeth Byrne's grave is thought to be in the Old North Cemetery between Fonda and Varina, Iowa. Mary Elizabeth Byrne, Peter and Matthew Byrne is believed to have lived in the Fonda area for a long time. Peter Byrne married a Annabelle Sullivan. Matthew Byrne married a Mary Lynch while William Byrne married a Catherine Lynch.
