Marilyn A. Washburn, 76 years old of Isle, Minnesota, passed away June 1, 2018.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Vets Club 38692 US-169, Onamia, MN 56359, on Sunday, July 15, 1 to 4 p.m.. All friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Marilyn’s life.

A private burial will be held in Isle, Minn., at a later date.

Marilyn was survived by her husband of 57 years, Lloyd; children, Lori and son-in-law, John Denman, and Greg Washburn; grandchildren Jacob & Shelby Denman, Teddy & Alec Washburn.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steven; and her parents, Kathryn and Arnold.

Marilyn was born on August 28, 1941, raised in Laurens, Iowa, by parents Kathryn and Arnold Runneberg.

She was a graduate of N.W. Institute of Medical Technology where she worked as a lab technician. She was a 25-year employee of U.S.A.F – N.C.O Club, Minneapolis, Minn., as a waitress and manager and worked Teal’s Market as a cashier where she was a friend to all.

She enjoyed friends and neighbors, boating, canoe trips, fishing and the cabin on Smith Lake. “She was a Wonder Woman.”
