Funeral services held Saturday for Kathryn Goodchild

Funeral services for Kathryn Goodchild, 85, formerly of Havelock, were held Saturday at the United Methodist Church in West Bend, with the body scheduled to be taken to Des Moines for cremation that day. Miss Goodchild, West Bend, died last Wednesday evening at her home.

Born in Havelock, she attended schools there and also Morningside College in Sioux City and the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. Miss Goodchild taught at Mobridge, S. D., for many years, and later taught at Royal, Havelock and Plover.

Survivors include a brother, Ned Goodchild of Havelock, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Green, Des Moines.
