Aaron Erickson, 87 years old died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. G. W. Hartquist, 311 O Street, West Fort Dodge, early this morning. (4-20-1920) Mr. Erickson had been in excellent health considering his age until Friday evening when he fell down stairs and fractured his hip. Pneumonia set in Sunday and death followed. Mr. Erickson was born in Sweden. He came to this country fifty-five years ago and settled on a farm near Pomeroy. He has made his home in Fort Dodge for the past eighteen years. His children who survive him are Hildur and Robert Erickson of Pocahontas, Mrs. John Linn of Lakecourt, Cal., Mrs. J. W. Larson of Curlock, Cal., (Andrew)Enoch Erickson of Holyoke, Minn., Mrs. C. E. Franzen of Red Oak, Mrs. Leonard Erickson and Mrs. Hartquist of this city. (Fort Dodge) The funeral will take place this morning at the residence at 10 a.m. Rev August Polson being in charge. Burial will be in Pomeroy. (Swedish Miss. Bethany, Belville Twp., Pocahontas County)
