Dead.-Last Monday evening, Nicholas Wagner, well known to all the people of Le Mars, having been employed at the Dubuque House for the past six years, died at that house, after an illness of two weeks, his disease being typho-malarial fever.

"Nick" Wagner, as he was commonly known, was born in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, April 25, 1850, and therefore less than thirty years of age. He came to Le Mars in 1873, at once taking the position of clerk in the Dubuque House, the proprietor of which, C.D. Hoffman, Esq., his uncle. He has remained here ever since, and by his kindly manners made hosts of friends.

The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock this morning from the Catholic church.
