OCT 07, 1903 - SEP 08, 1971Edward Braband dies unexpectedly at home today
Edward A. Braband, 67, 200 Fourth Ave. SW, died unxpectedly at his home early Wednesday morning.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Luken-Johnson Feneral Home with Rev. Milo Morris officiating.Burial will be in Memorial cemetery under the direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home.
Mr. Braband, a lifelong Le Mars resident, was a gasoline tankwagon operator for many years.
He was born Oct. 7, 1903, in Le Mars [IA], a son of the late Frank and Rose Reiter Braband. He married Cora Van Scoy Sept. 10, 1929,in Le Mars.
He was a member of the fraternal order of the Eagles,
Mr. Braband was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister, and a grandaughter.Survivors are his wife Cora, a son Paul of Le Mars; a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Maxine) Lems of Sioux City [IA] and a sister, Mrs. Viola Ballweg of Denver, Colo. and seven grandchildren.
