Donald F. Reiter, 76, Le Mars, died Monday, May 4, 1992, at the Floyd Valley Hospital, Le Mars, after a brief illness,
Services will be at 10 am Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars with the Rev. Dale George officiating. Burial will be in Le Mars Calvery Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 pm today, with a scriptual wake service at 7pm and Knights of Columbus rosary at 7:30 pm, at Luedtke-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars.
Mr. Reiter was born Dec. 10, 1915, in Le Mars, the son of Peter and Philomena (Hazel) Reiter. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He then was employed for many years as a carpenter withLeo P. Nemmers and later with Oeville Livermore Construction in LeMars.
Mr. Reiter was amember of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Holy Name Society and Knights Of Columbus.
Survivors include two nephews, Darrell Reiter, LeMars, and Jerry Reiter, Pocahontas [IA],; a niece, Mrs. Harlan (Darlene) Engeldinger of Sioux City [IA]; and 14 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence; and a niece, Joyce (Reiter) Nuzum.
