Joyce (Reiter) Nuzum
Joyce Nuzum, 52, of Omaha, Neb., a former longtime Le Mars resident, died Monday, Aug. 14, 1989, at her home following a brief illness.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the John A. Gentlemen Funeral Home at Omaha with burial at St. Mary Magdelin Cemetery at Omaha.
She was born April 10, 1937, in Le Mars, toLawrence and Margaret [Wanderscheid] Reiter. She graduated from Gehlen Catholic School in Le Mars.
She Married Kenneth Nuzum Feb. 15, 1969, at St. James Catholic Church in LeMars.
Survivors are her husband, Kenneth; her mother, Margaret Ernst of Le Mars; two sisters, Mrs. Harlan (Darlene) Engeldinger of Sioux City, and Mrs. Jerry (Mary) Shields of Kansas City, MO.; and three brothers, Darrell Reiter of Le Mars, Jerry Reiter of Pocahontas and Richard Ernst of Le Mars.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Reiter; stepfather, Raymond Ernst, and grandparents.

NOTE: Joyce's body was removed from the Omaha cemetery and is currently buried in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.
