Edward Braband dies unexpectedly at home today

Edward A. Braband, 67, 200 Fourth Ave. SW, died unxpectedly at his home early Wednesday morning.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Luken-Johnson Feneral Home with Rev. Milo Morris officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial cemetery under the direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home.
Mr. Braband, a lifelong Le Mars resident, was a gasoline tankwagon operator for many years.
He was born Oct. 7, 1903, in Le Mars [IA], a son of the late Frank and Rose Reiter Braband. He married Cora Van Scoy Sept. 10, 1929,in Le Mars.
He was a member of the fraternal order of the Eagles,
Mr. Braband was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister, and a grandaughter.

Survivors are his wife Cora, a son Paul of Le Mars; a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Maxine) Lems of Sioux City [IA] and a sister, Mrs. Viola Ballweg of Denver, Colo. and seven grandchildren.
