Mrs. Edward Braband

Mrs. Edward Braband, 70, of Le Mars, died Friday (April 10, 1981) at Floyd Valley hospital in LeMars of brief illnesses.

Services were at 10:30a.m. Monday in the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph Nelson officiated. Burial was in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Braband, the former Cora Van Scoy, was born Dec. 28, 1910, in Le Mars to Icabod and Mabel Murkins Van Scoy, and was a lifelong resident here.

She was married Sept. 10, 1929 in Le Mars. Mr. Braband died Sept. 8, 1971.

Survivors are one son, Paul of Le Mars; one daughter,Mrs. Maxine [Henry] Lems of San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
