Funeral Services Held Tuesday

Funeral services for Elmer A. Anderson, 61, who died Friday at the home of a sister, Mrs. Fay Shearer, in Sioux City, following a long illness, were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Adaville United Brethren church, with Rev. Henry Warkentin, of Westminister Presbyterian church in Sioux City, officiating. Burial was in the Adaville cemetery.

Mr. Anderson was born November 27, 1892, in Plymouth county, where he resided most of his life excepting about 15 years when he lived in Sioux City. He was a veteran of World War I and served in the Rainbow Division. He was a member of Westminister Presbyterian church and Monahan Post of the American Legion.

Survivors include a brother, Lenart, of Omaha, and three sisters, Mrs. Elin Peterson, of Kadoka, S.D., Mrs. Elsie Nelson, of Merrill, and Mrs. Shearer.
