Obituaries
Frank Allie Eason

Frank Allie Eason, 98, of LeMars, died Thursday (July 28, 1988) at Brentwood Care Center in LeMars.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church at Orange City with Rev. Mark Carnahan officiating. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Friday with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.

Mr. Eason was born Jan. 8, 1890, in Sherman Township, Sioux County, to Frank and Jessie Moir Eason. On Nov. 30, 1932, he married Agnes Buth at Wolverton, Minn. He was a retired farmer.

He had farmed all his life in the area and lived at Brentwood since 1973.

Mr. Eason was a member of Faith Lutheran Church at Orange City.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. LeRoy (Shirley) Woehler of LeMars; two granddaughters Mrs. Allan (Brenda) Phelan and Mrs. Rod (Stephanie) Jurgens, both of LeMars; a grandson, Joel Lee Woehler of LeMars, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George Eason, and an infant daughter.
