MRS. F. T. EASON DIES
Was a Member of Pioneer Sherman Township FamilyLast rites will be held this afternoon for Mrs. F. T. Eason, who died at her home near Seney Saturday evening, June 25. The funeral will be held from the F. A. Eason home at 1:30 with services in the Methodist church at Seney at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. W. C. Bergman, pastor. Interment will be made in the LeMars city cemetery.
Mrs. Eason had been in failing health for some time due to diabetes and complications.
Mrs. Eason was widely known in the community where she lived since girlhood and enjoyed the respect of all who knew her.
Mrs. F. T. Eason, nee Jessie Moir, was born in Ontario, Canada, on October 27, 1860, and died at her home near Seney on June 25, 1932, aged 71 years, 7 months and 29 days. She was marrid to F. T. Eason on October 18, 1883, at the home of her parents in Sherman township and lived on the home farm in the same township in Sioux county until a little over one year ago when she and her husband moved to the new home of their son, F. A. Eason, near Seney.
She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, F. T. Eason, two sons, F. A. Eason and George Eason, one grandson, also six brothers, Geo. R. Moir, of Sherman township, Russell J., of LeMars, Robert S. and Peter W. Moir, of Mitchell, S. D., and James Thomas and Andrew C., of Andover, S. D., and three sisters, Mrs. Jane Hawkins, of Seney, Mrs. Agnes Van Wechel, of Barnesville, Minn., and Mrs. M. C. McMullen, of Larchwood, Iowa.
