Agnes Eason

Agnes E. Eason, 93, Lemars, died Friday (April 12, 1991) at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran church in Orange City with Rev. David Daumer officiating. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation is after 2 p.m. Monday with the family present from 7-8 p.m. at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

The former Agnes E. Buth was born March 2, 1898, in Barnesville, Minn., to Ferdinand and Anna Meyer Buth. She married Frank Allie Eason Nov. 30, 1932, in Wolverton, Minn. She and her husband farmed for many years in the LeMars area. Mr. Eason died July 28, 1988.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Orange City.

Survivors are a daughter, Shirley Woehler, LeMars; two granddaughters, Stephanie Jurgens and her husband, Rodney of LeMars; and Brenda Phelan and her husband, Allan of LeMars; a grandson, Joel Woehler of LeMars; six great-grandchildren, April and Matthew Jurgens and Tyler, Brandon, Justin and Jacqueline Phelan of LeMars.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, in infancy, a son-in-law, LeRoy Woehler; a great-grandson; four brothers and five sisters.
